Established in 1977, making it one of the longest running master planning & architectural design firms in the Philippines.

Specializes in large, complex mixed use development projects in both greenfield and brownfield areas, such as townships and urban redevelopment.

Hands-on management by its Principals: Nathaniel von Einsiedel, MUP Columbia University; and Leon M. Mayo, MBA Ateneo University. Both are Architects and Environmental Planners.

Services include architectural design and urban design, urban/city planning, land use & environmental planning, urban redevelopment, disaster risk reduction and management, heritage conservation planning, transit-oriented development, real estate feasibility / highest & best use studies.

Also provides assistance to landowners in negotiating with private real estate developers for joint-venture projects.

Nathaniel von Einsiedel

Architect and Urban Environmental Planner

Nathaniel von Einsiedel is licensed Urban Environmental Planner and Architect in the Philippines, as well as an Urban Management Specialist accredited with the World Bank and Asian Development Bank. He has over 40 years of experience in urban development planning and management in government and the private sector as well as in technical assistance programs in developing countries.

His government experience includes urban development policy, land use planning, urban design, housing for low-income families, and capital investments programming. His private sector engagements include master-planned mixed-use communities, residential, institutional, and recreational developments; and urban redevelopment projects.

He also has served as an urban development consultant to international development agencies such as the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, USAID-RHUDO, UNCRD, and UN-ESCAP. From 1990 to 2003, he served as Regional Coordinator for Asia-Pacific of the United Nations Urban Management Programme where he managed technical assistance projects in 22 cities across 11 Asian countries. He has been conferred the status of Fellow by both the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) and the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners (PIEP).

He was awarded by the Philippine Federation of Professional Associations (PFPA) as Outstanding Environmental Planner in 2008, and by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) as Outstanding Environmental Planner for 2012.

Leon Mayo

Architect and Environmental Planner
President, Head of Architectural Department

Leon Mayo is a registered architect and environmental planner with over 40 years of experience. His professional track record covers a wide range of physical design projects and technical studies related to: building design & site development; urban planning; and urban development affairs and concerns.

Apart from private sector clientele who largely require designs for their residential and commercial projects, Architect Mayo has implemented works for local governments, national agencies and including international funding institutions requiring consultancy architecture and development planning services.

Along with his professional work, Architect Mayo has taken on various roles (i.e. project team leader; urban development specialist; and spatial designer) either in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team of consultants, as technical head of his firm, or otherwise in his personal capacity as a professional architect and environmental planner.
