CONCEP provides Architectural Design and Urban Planning services. The company’s projects range from national to barangay level. In general, CONCEP’s services are reflected under the following project themes:
This service involves the total design of a building or in the case of complexes, the design of building structures within a shared site that will also be planned. The scope of the design process may also include the detailing of interior treatment, special apparatus, landscape and streetscape, etc. Construction phase supervision and support in the preparation of marketing materials can also be provided. The project types serviced by the firm are essentially residential (low or high density), commercial (shops and offices) and institutional (headquarters and campuses) in nature.
This service involves the physical planning design of master-planned communities that have a neighborhood structure and multiple land use sectors. Urban design is a specialty discipline that will be integral to the work process. The work is multi-disciplinary in nature involving various technical specialists. The work will be reiterative in conduct and where periodic workshops for visioning, production, operations and macro concerns (subregional context, system trends, product type options, etc.) may be provided.
This service involves city planning activity and all that it entails with regard to city development (i.e. infrastructure, organization, socio- economics, land use and zoning, etc.). It includes economic competitiveness analysis, capital investments planning / programming and strategic development appointments (i.e. catalytic projects, institutional options, incentive packaging, project funds generation, etc.). In line with making cities competitive globally, it looks at the need for urban renewal /revitalization, climate change adaptation, resource optimization and including heritage promotion for the built and natural environment.
This field of work involves the formulation of regional growth plans, policies, programs and projects towards the attainment of desired objectives for service delivery and environmental sustainability. Urban growth management is a salient element in the work due to current trends in urbanization. Area wide economic trending, incentives packaging and resource evaluation and consolidation are major considerations as well. For operational purposes, a related work is the upgrading and preparation of technical references not only for regional application but nationally as well (i.e. the CLUP manual, DRR provisions of the building code and local investment policies).
